Hotspots Sparta aka Lustucru - Asian Leopard Cat

Sparta joined us recently after Elektra went missing.

He was offered to us by Hotspots exotics in Scotland. We are forever grateful for this really amazing gift. Roseanne, George, your hearts are made of gold.

We were warned that Lustucru was not tamed like Elektra as he was raised by his biological mother and not bottle fed by humans. So we set up our minds to be ready for an entirely new experience. He seemed quick to adapt to his new environment and was happy to hang around us, as long as we didn't try to stroke him or disturb him in his sleep ! Very rapidly we saw loads of resemblances. He is a happy and bright little chap, enjoys playing and his little tricks. He is a peaceful character around the other cats. He comes by us, sniffs our clothes and is comfortable in our presence. He is now getting use to being stroked which is still more a pleasure for us than for him, but we are working on it ! His pelt is amazingly soft.

We are in awe with this boy. The amount of time we spend watching him ...

He has seen his future girlfriend Anjuna and seems to like her ! Hopefully we will have some lovely little F1s soon.
